Bens first report

The race season got off to a great start for Ben (Bayfield) with a 2nd place win in his first ever Enduro at Enduroland in March. The action continued with the start of the MX season – in the first race Ben managed a 5th overall in the 125 class (trophy round). He continued to do well in round 3 at Mildenhall and finish a respectable 11th. The Supermoto season started with a warm up round at Wigan, where Ben manage to dial in his 250cc bike, having great races with his team mates (on 450s), the conditions were awful with extreme rain all day, this certainly put him through his paces. The first Championship round was a completely different story – glorious sunshine (25 degrees) on Saturday and Sunday. Ben’s championship race was on Sunday where he rode the track like a pro, he increased his track speed and impressed some of the 450 riders (who couldn’t believe he was on a 250). Ben finished 2nd in the Lites Class (up to 250 cc category) and even managed to finish 7th in the Novice Class (which includes riders on 450s). Ben puts in a lot of time into practising whether on the MX track, Enduros or trials. He works extremely hard to be the best he can. He is very grateful to all his sponsors, who make this all possible. If you would like to follow his progress, he frequently posts to his race page on Facebook @Ben Bayfield #987 Racing.
